A budget has been set and wanderlust is hitting hard. Stepping foot on the mother continent of Africa has always been on the travel list.
So what countries in Africa are inexpensive (and safe) to visit?
#1: Morocco
Morocco is a short ferry or train ride from Spain and Portugal on the edge of the Mediterranean sea. The average cost for a week-long trip for two here is just $624!
As for traveling while Black, Morocco is generally considered safe.
#2: Tunisia
Boasting unique historic sites and beautiful sandy beaches, Tunisia is another Northern African country to visit. The average week-long vacation package for two here is a mere $707!
Traveling while Black here is also considered safe. But mind your items, as petty crime is a thing here.
#3: Egypt
Many of us dream of seeing ancient cities built to honor Black culture and history - and Egypt is the place to see it all. On average, a week-long vacation for two here will run around $2,246.
Egypt is primarily safe for Black travelers though there are spots where most travel should be avoided.
Additional savings will need to be put aside for airfare to each of these incredible countries, but it’s hard to pass up these fantastic trip opportunities. Where else should we bargain travel?
