Sean Combs, better known as “Diddy” lately, recognized that many of us want to “buy Black” but have trouble making it happen. So he’s partnering with a software company to create a digital market, called Shop Circulate, that empowers consumers to discover and buy from Black businesses and entrepreneurs! Here’s the details.

The online marketplace, set to launch late 2021, is designed to champion Black businesses by amplifying their visibility and making their products more accessible. When we “buy Black,” we all benefit: the more Black dollars “circulate” in our community, the more we all build wealth!

Investing in our own promotes community self-sufficiency and is a powerful way to close the large wealth gap that affects us – but we need access to Black businesses to do so! That’s where Shop Circulate comes in, which will feature a vast array of products: art, home goods, fashion, and more.

Diddy is capitalizing on his connections by partnering with Salesforce and Deloitte, two of the largest professional and customer service organizations. And he’s acquired or partnered with The Nile List and Official Black Wall Street, two of the best directories for Black businesses, to make this happen.

It is so important that we have a collective digital space to support each other and circulate the Black dollar within our community. One of the keys to Black financial liberation is community self-sufficiency!

We have a quick favor to ask:

And as a nonprofit, we rely on small donations from subscribers like you.
